      Nutrition is one of the most important aspects of any cattle operation and one of the most expensive. Some feeds, by products, commodities and hay are much higher in value than others from a  "Feed Value Index" and you can compare them in this website on a cost per head, per day basis. You will realize a significant spread in annual cost per cow.
